Todays short and sweet message is about work-life balance and all that it can offer you.
Before you laugh a little too hard at that statement I have some insightful suggestions that might just spark some inspiration when the time is right.
Work-life balance is a term that refers to a state of equilibrium between your work life and the rest of your life. Working just enough to enhance the rest of your life—with an income, purpose, friends, and other benefits—but not so much that stress becomes overwhelming or you have no time to do other things you enjoy, is a tough balance to achieve.

Life with kids is two times the doctor’s appointments 📅, two times the Petri dish of germs 🧫, two times the laundry 🧺, two times the prayer needed 🙏🏻. 2021 man-o-man, I’ve only known grit like that 2 other times—childbirth & recovery
I think it’s fair to say that balance of any kind has had to take a back-seat since the pandemic graced our presence.Parents all around had to let go of what they knew in exchange for what they didn’t think was thought was possible. I’m sure a lot of parents would stare off into the distance to think about life before the pandemic 😆 😅 🙋♀️
For those who felt this was more of a blessing and life seems different but better - all the power to you guys ❤️ I have heard of some pretty amazing stories of families who were on the verge of breaking suddenly come back stronger - all thanks to the pandemic. Which is a great reminder that even in troublesome times that love is always around no matter whats happening.

BUT, now some are starting to seeing the aftermath of loosening our boundaries, pant strings and self-care. The struggle is real but it doesn't have to be.... with some guidance you will be amazed at what can be accomplished.
So, before you read on I think you should know that finding even one or two of these suggestions would make a great difference in general.
Just because there is a list here does not mean they ALL have to apply... accept what you can change.
Change what you can and accept what you can’t
This advice applies to every single being on this 🌍.
This especially applies to the days you feel the most stressed and drained.
Consider letting go of time-wasting activities (you know what i’m talking about) and people who zap your energy - its' half the battle.
Take inventory of whats working and whats not working... 📝
🍎💦Nutrition and Hydration
How we eat and drink matters. Eating a lot of inflammatory foods or not drinking enough water can cause constipation, agitation, fatigue and headaches for example. Proper nutrition and hydration keep us functioning at peak performance physically, mentally, and emotionally.
🛋🛀🏻Rest & Relaxation
Like movement, rest and relaxation are often side-stepped in the busy lives we live. The mind and body are repaired and restored during downtime. Sleep, intentional meditation (whatever that looks like for YOU), connection with nature, ourselves, and others are all part of the oil that keeps our gears moving. We don’t want no drained, disconnected, dismissed energy in our lives 🛑🕊
📝Do You Delegate?
Are there things you don’t enjoy doing that someone else could do?
Are there things that take a lot of time or energy that could take less effort from someone else?
What takes you away from the people, places, experiences, and things you really want in your life?

Are your goals and daily actions aligned with your desires?
What are you passionate about?
Do you set aside time for family, friends, and the pursuits that bring you joy and happiness?

Don't dismiss your inner voice that's guiding you
The one that has spoken up time and time again, sometimes you listened but for the most part you didnt. That voice of reason is there to guide you to your best self. Start listening to that voice, try it out.
Next time you're eating something, listen to your body for a bit after. How did that food make you feel? Take time to connect and listen.
Or whatever you have going on in your life and that voice pops up... give it a chance to weigh in on your decision.
